graet food ,warm and comfortable room ,good beer ,good wine .A warm welcome from the hosts and again wonderfull food!
Good food both at breakfast and evening meals although it was disappointing that there was no Sunday evening service especially as alternatives were limited in Chesterfield itself.
The locality of the hotel as it is only 5/10 mins walk into town and 2 mins from the local pub. The Chesterfield Arms which if you are a Beer drinker then it had 10 differant Ales on.
Very friendly and very comfortable bed
The smell of food when we arrived
Great welcome and help in finding hotel. Restaurent excellent and unusual. Food well presented.
The food is wonderful and the people that run the hotel are simply lovely as are their staff
Excellent food, very friendly and helpful management and staff, good value for money and good decor and cleanliness
The single room was very small and the shower room/toilet very cramped. In future I would book a double room with more space!
We found Finn and Else to be extremely friendly and attentive. Nothing seemed to much trouble and they were very helpful with information regarding directions and local attractions. We were made to feel very welcome and we felt at ease relaxing in the lounge. The food was excellent too.
friendly, efficient, value for money with excellent food and service, what more could you want ?
The owners were very friendly and created a relaxed atmosphere with their conversations without been intrusive.
Plenty of car parking, easy walk to town, very clean , quiet, and comfortable with friendly and helpful owners. Above average breakfast. We can't think of any significant improvement.
Nice parking , wifi , breakfast very nice , and efficient Quiet rooms, nice people and a warm welcome
Only 5 min from town centre. Quiet surroundings so good nights sleep guarenteed. Very pleasant owners, willing to help if needed. Overall very comfortable and relaxing stay.Nice breakfast
Only a small en-suit bathroom, very crampt. Water in shower not very hot when we took a shower. These did not detract from the very good nature of the stay.
The owners were extremely helpful and kind. The room was comfortable and everything one could expect.
The long life milk in the room was horrible ( sorry, struggled for anything negative to say)
Run by a very nice couple in a small and charming old vicarage turned into hotel.
